The journey to the Stockalperhof in Brig-Glis, in the middle of the Simplon region in Valais, is possible all year round by car or public transport. Thanks to its unique central location in the heart of the Alps and excellent transport connections, Brig-Glis is an international transport hub.
Brig-Glis can be reached by car via the A9 motorway, the Furka Pass (year-round car train), the Grimsel Pass (open in summer), the Nufenen Pass (open in summer), the car train on the Lötschberg, by train via the SBB Simplon Line and Lötschberg Line, the Glacier Express, and by plane via Zurich, Geneva, Basel and Milan-Malpensa airports.
Park your car in the "Aldstadt" parking garage, Neue Simplonstrasse 25, Brig. From there it is 210 m on foot, past the Goudron monument, to the Stockalperhof at Alte Simplonstrasse 6, Brig.
Brig train station is 400 m from the hotel.
Brig is easily accessible by train via InterCity connections through the Lötschberg Base Tunnel NEAT or the RegioExpress Lötschberger. Current timetables can be found at bls and SBB.
International airports are located in Zurich, Geneva and Basel in Switzerland, and in Milan-Malpensa in Italy. From the airports there are mostly direct train connections to Brig.
